Full Professor and Executive Director of the UCEMA Friedman Hayek Center for the Study of a Free Society
Ph.D. in Economics, University of Chicago.
Edgardo Zablotsky is Full Professor at Universidad del CEMA in Buenos Aires and Executive Director of the UCEMA Friedman Hayek Center for the Study of a Free Society, which he founded. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago and is a member of the National Academy of Education.
He is also a member of the Mont Pelerin Society and serves on the Academic Councils of Fundación Libertad y Progreso and Fundación Atlas (Argentina).
His research focuses on two main areas: philanthropy that promotes self-reliance and school choice within the Argentine educational context. His most recent book, When Fear Abolished Freedom, co-authored with Gabriel Zanotti, was published in August 2025.
