Juan Bautista Alberdi and the role of entrepreneurs in society
How does Alberdi challenge us in the present? What country did he imagine and what means did he promote for it? What role do entrepreneurs play in Alberdi´s model? What were the results of these ideas and how did the country fare when we moved away from them? These are some of the questions that will be answered in the talk.
Doctor in History from the Di Tella University, Master of Arts from the University of Chicago, Master in Economics and Business Administration from ESEADE and Professor of History from the Belgrano University. He is Professor of Economic History at CEMA and has taught and lectured in Latin America, the United States and Spain. He has been Fulbright scholar twice to study and teach in the United States. He is author of several books and articles, some on the figure of J.B. Alberdi.
