In this talk, the author will tell us about her latest book (edited by EUDEBA) that explores the relations established by Nelson Rockefeller with Latin America in the years of World War II. How Rockefeller´s creation of the Inter American Office of Cooperation and his strategies sought to win “hearts and souls” of Latin Americans through the subsidy of the arts. In what manner the countries of the region were encouraged to have closer relations, through art, in a period which was heading towards a world conflict and in which strategic alignments were key.
