New Revenue Lines for Corporates via Intrapreneurship, Innovation or Startup Collaboration
During this short seminar we will be discussing the various approaches Corporates can pursue to introduce new growth revenue lines. We ll cover the most common Innovation and Intrapreneurship approaches as well as structures and strategies involving collaboration with startups.
Andreas Antonopoulos is the Rector of the University of New York in Prague (www.unyp.cz) and a Partner at Venture Growth Partners (www.vgpartners.io), an investment fund focusing on early stage ventures. Andreas teaches Entrepreneurship related subjects at UNYP as well as in several MBA Programs around the world and regularly gives related seminars and invited speeches.
Andreas has over 30 years of an academic, entrepreneurial, investment and corporate background blend. He was Co-Founder of Working Knowledge, a leading telecoms advisory firm in London which he exited in 2007, he has also co-founded Viva Credit, a fintech market leader in micro-lending in Romania which has also expanded to Spain and Czech Republic and is now valued at over $120M. Andreas has been an angel investor in more than a dozen other failed, alive or thriving ventures. He was also a mentor in a few select accelerators such as Wayra and Startup Yard. Before UNYP and VGP, he has held executive appointments in academia at Central European University in Budapest as well as a variety of senior and middle management appointments in leading telecom sector companies such as RHK, Lucent Technologies, Nortel Networks and British Telecom. Andreas has worked and/or lived, for short or longer periods, in Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Greece, Hungary, the Philippines, Romania, Spain, the UK and the US, and speaks 8 languages at various degrees of proficiency. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from University College London, UK and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve, Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
