An overview of Argentine education in the 21st century
In this century the educational requirements are increasing, as this is the century of science and technology, instead of natural resources, as in the past. In this presentation, the issues related to this kind of drastic changes will be explored, as well as the consequences they present to the current educational system of our country.
Economist (National University of Buenos Aires), with postgraduate studies at the University of Chile (Escolatina) and a PhD from the University of California (Berkeley). Fellow at the Universities of Chicago, Yale, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Dr. Guadagni was a professor at the Universities of Buenos Aires, Católica Argentina and Bologna. He taught in postgraduate courses at the Ortega y Gasset Institute (Madrid) and in various programs of the Inter-American Development Bank and the Organization of American States (OAS). He is a full member of the National Academy of Education and the Argentine Academy of Environmental Sciences. Director of the CEA (Center for Educational Studies), University of Belgrano.
