Michael Georg Link is a German politician of the Free Democratic Party (FPD) who has served a member of the Bundestag from 2005 to 2013 and again since 2017. In addition to his parliamentary work, he has been serving as the Coordinator of Transatlantic Cooperation at the Federal Foreign Office in the coalition government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz since 2022. Link was the Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) from July 2014 to June 2017. From January 2012 to December 2013, he served as First Deputy Foreign Minister (Minister of State for Europe) in the government of Chancellor Angela Merkel.
