Naumann Chair

Naumann Chair

The Naumann Chair began its sessions in May 2020, and was founded as a space of reflection generated by Ucema and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, as part of their common objectives for promoting the debate of ideas, a humanistic training and the ideas of an open society. The German parliamentarian Konstantin Kuhle, the president of the Liberal International Hakima El Haite, Brazilian liberal councilor Ricardo Gomes and Venezuelan academic Alonso Domínguez, among several other prominent participants have already passed through this space. The 2021 sessions were opened by the EU parliamentarian Jordi Cañas, of the liberal party Ciudadanos.

The Naumann Chair is coordinated by Dr. Lars André Richter, main representative of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Argentina.
