History and Freedom Seminar

The objective of the History and Freedom seminar is to create a space for presenting, analyzing and debating topics related to the history of Argentina and the world, that are relevant for understanding the present and with a focus on the importance of freedom in the evolution of society. Roberto Cachanosky, Emilio Ocampo, María Blanco, Victoria Villarruel, Ricardo López Gottig, José Benegas, among others have attended this seminar.

The seminar was initiated by Alejandro Gómez, Coordinator of History at UCEMA, Doctor in History from the Torcuato Di Tella University, Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of Chicago and Master in Economics and Business Administration from ESEADE. He currently teaches at UCEMA, at ESEADE and at the University Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala. He has published articles on topics related to Business and Economic History, and also books on business history and about José del Valle (hero of Central American independence).
